How to Entertain Guest in Your Apartment

Entertaining guests in your apartment does not have to be a worrisome task. You may be thinking that it is too expensive to invite guests over, or your may also be thinking that it may get too noisy. And its not really even that hard. Also you will most likely need some chips, pop and maybe some crackers. Buy the “no-name” chips and crackers, no one can really tell the difference once they are in a bowl! Spend the extra on pop as most people do not like the no-name brands. Be sure to spread out the snacks around your party area so everyone can get some. Also if this is an adult party tell your guests that it is a “bring your own liquor” party. This can also apply to the food. Invite your guests to bring a dip or other appetizer and have a potluck.

Now that you have your food and snacks ready its time to think about entertainment. You do not want to be loud and bug your neighbors. This is both rude and inconsiderate. Plus you do not want to be “that person” who all the neighbors are talking about. You can get away with a little light music in an apartment. Don’t hire a band though! Remind your guests upfront that you are in an apartment and try not to make any unnecessary loud actions. I find that a good party will usually start with a little social conversations for people to walk around and mingle. Then you can plan to have a few games ready. Card games and board games are also a great option. Have a few on had incase a number of people would like to play another game. There is no reason to force people to play a game they do not like!

You can still have a lot of fun at an apartment party. Just remember to be considerate of your neighbors. Excess noise is not needed to have a good time.
